Coutainville was created in 1919. It is well maintained, the greens are excellent and this course is always being improved, with taste, whenever the opportunity arises.

The whole impression is of a lovely and varied course, with a 547 yard par 5 at the 16th that needs a strong drive, as the green lies 140m on the other side of a water hazard full of reeds.

Coutainville is also well known for its typically welcoming British-style clubhouse. The many competitions attract lots of players and create a warm atmosphere. This course should not be missed.
